Plans to support Shelter

Sir"Come as you are. You'll be loved."  That's what the sign says above River City Vineyard and, as I see it, they have put their money and resources where their mouth is. To all concerned Sarnia citizens. A little love can go further than you may know. People play the cards that life deals them. Don't you think that those who made their beds poorly know it.
When someone is broken, hungry and cold, feeling defeated, we, as civilized, God-fearing people must respond. We must treat every "messy soul" with the love and respect and the kindness we all hope for ourselves or our loved ones in times of trouble. When you fall off a cliff, you don't get much warning, you just fall.
You didn't plan on falling but there you are. Thank goodness there are still people willing to put themselves at the cliff's edge to help fellow human beings make it safely back to the top. Wouldn't it be great to help people change their lives? I don't think watching Dr. Phil or Oprah is enough. Cigarette butts are easier to pick up then people. Let's get out hands dirty and do all we can to help. I plan to attend the meeting at city hall tonight to show my support.
