Supports Homeless Shelter
Sir: I want to say thank you to everyone who was involved in supporting the homeless shelter to continue. I pray it will be allowed to offer hope and warmth to people who are in need. To the people who oppose this, be aware that adversity could strike at any time and you also could face the challenge of needing a helping hand. Our work on earth is to help and offer hope and love, one to another. Even as God commands us to. People of many faiths also believe in helping their fellow man. We see, hear, and experience many negative things. Sometimes it's nice to see the love of the Father at work, instead of worrying about red tape or negative attitudes or only thinking of our own selves and our needs. Christians have been criticized for talking the talk, so why do we criticize when they walk the walk? The world, including Sarnia, is made a better place because of love and compassion for each other. For those who oppose the homeless shelter I pray the Lord places His love and understanding in your hearts. We all have the concerns at times, what if…..happens? Well, what if we do the Father's work and see light shine in the darkness? Lives can change by faith, hope, and love. Our own lives can change by reaching out to help others by acts of kindness and mercy.
